Isaiah 46:4 (NRSV) — 4 even to your old age I am he,

even when you turn gray I will carry you.

I have made, and I will bear;

I will carry and will save.

Isaiah 46:4 (The Message) — 4 And I’ll keep on carrying you when you’re old.

I’ll be there, bearing you when you’re old and grey.

I’ve done it and will keep on doing it,

carrying you on my back, saving you.

Isaiah 40:31 (NRSV) — 31 but those who wait for the Lord

shall renew their strength,

they shall mount up with wings like eagles,

they shall run and not be weary,

they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 (The Message) — 31 But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.

They spread their wings and soar like eagles,

They run and don’t get tired,

they walk and don’t lag behind.

Isaiah 40:31 (NCV) — 31 But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again.

They will rise up as an eagle in the sky;

they will run and not need rest;

they will walk and not become tired.

 

Our God is our Constant Companion!

He carries us through life!

He renews our strength!

We run without becoming weary!

We walk without fainting!

He enables us to rise up and soar as an eagle in the sky!
