Ephesians 1:15–19 (NRSV) — 15 I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus
and your love toward all the saints,
and for this reason 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.
17 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him,
18 so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened,
you may know what is the hope to which he has called you,
what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints,
19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe,
according to the working of his great power.

We stand on the edge of breakthrough!
We stand confidently knowing that
God has called us and purposed us!
He watches over us!
He will carry out His Plans for us!
May we receive His Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation
to know the immeasurable great power
He works in us and for us.
Amen.

before all time and now and forever. Amen.

He holds us!
He gives us wings!
He keeps us from falling!
What a wonderful God we have!
Glory! Glory! Glory!

For those of us who are entering a new phase of life
declarations are a great way to cement the
foundation of change in faith ...

Source: Joel Osteen ... Day 18
I DECLARE that breakthroughs are coming in my life!
 Sudden bursts of God’s Goodness—
not a trickle—not a stream.
A flood of God’s Power—of Healing—of Wisdom—
a flood of Favour.
 I am a breakthrough person!
I choose to live breakthrough-minded!
I am expecting God to overwhelm me with His Goodness
and to amaze me with His Favour!
This is my declaration.
Amen.

Jesus is your blessing!
Your true friends are simply imitations of Him ...
and what beautiful reflections of Jesus they are!
Treasure your friendships ...
you have them only because your
One True Friend
first sought you out!

Sing with me: What a Friend we have in Jesus!

What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and grief to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit;
oh, what needless pain we bear—
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer!

Anecdote:
I had occasion to read and study the Book of Jonah
this week - all four chapters!
This image reflects that story precisely.
I learned about past habits that have the unfortunate tendency
to influence my life still today ...
traits I am hoping to be released from
in my ongoing quest for spiritual maturity.

Ephesians 1:18–19 (NET) — 18 —since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened—
you know what is the hope of his calling,
what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe,
as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NET) — 13 And now these three remain:
faith, hope, and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

What are you believing for?
What are you looking forward to?
What needs to be transformed in your life?
The Love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
will carry you through.

Romans 8:26 (NRSV) — 26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness;
for we do not know how to pray as we ought,
but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.
Romans 8:26 (The Message) — 26 Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting,
God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along.
If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter.
He does our praying in and for us,
making prayer out of our wordless sighs,
our aching groans.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NRSV) — 17 pray without ceasing,
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (The Message) — 17 pray all the time;

1 Thessalonians 5:17 (GW) — 17 Never stop praying.
James 5:13 (NCV) — 13 Anyone who is having troubles should pray.
Anyone who is happy should sing praises.

Put on the armour of God daily.
Trust that God hears your prayers.
Holy Spirit transcribes your every cry for help.
Your prayers are fruitful ...
because He makes them so.
Never stop praying!

Psalm 139:2 (GW) — 2 You alone know when I sit down and when I get up.
You read my thoughts from far away.

May your whole self—spirit, soul, and body—
be kept safe and without fault when our Lord Jesus Christ comes.

Through the eyes of your heart
see how our Lord encompasses you ...
He knows your every move
He assigns angels to watch over you
He is the God of Peace -

therefore we love Him too.
We are His Sheep ...
follow Him 24/7.
Amen.

1 Corinthians 1:9 (NLT) — 9 God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says,
and he has invited you into partnership with his Son,
Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:5 (NLT) — 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment.
For we know how dearly God loves us,
because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Romans 5:5 (The Message) — 5 In alert expectancy such as this,
we’re never left feeling shortchanged.
Quite the contrary—
we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything
God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

We hold onto hope knowing that God
is a Faithful God
Who will never let us down or disappoint.
Our hope is secure IN Him.

Keep vigilant watch over your heart!
Amen.

Romans 8:1 (NRSV) — 1 There is therefore now no condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:1 (The Message) — 1 With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah,
that fateful dilemma is resolved.
Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us
no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud.
Romans 8:1 (GW) — 1 So those who are believers in Christ Jesus
can no longer be condemned.
Romans 8:1 (NCV) — 1 So now, those who are in Christ Jesus
are not judged guilty.

Friends!
When you step out in faith
into a new phase of life
be aware that the enemy of your soul
will seek to thwart your progress.
He does this mostly through
lies, innuendo and negative self-talk.
Take captive every thought!
Believe the BEST about yourself
because God has designed
only the BEST
for you!
Amen.

2 Corinthians 10:3–5 (NRSV) — 3 Indeed, we live as human beings,
but we do not wage war according to human standards;
4 for the weapons of our warfare are not merely human,
but they have divine power to destroy strongholds.
We destroy arguments
5 and every proud obstacle raised up against the knowledge of God,
and we take every thought captive to obey Christ.
Now read ...
Ephesians 6:10–18

We may forget at times but one thing is true—this world is a battlefield. Day by day, hour by hour, we face a spiritual war and an enemy that is real who wants nothing more than to bring defeat—to steal, kill, and destroy.  God has a plan for our lives. The evil one has a plan for us too. We just have to decide which voice we’re going to listen to, and who we're going to choose to follow each day. Chances are, if we don't make a determined choice to follow God, we may eventually fall into the evil one’s trap. God has given us His Word and Spirit—Powerful and True, so we will have the wisdom and protection to stand against the enemy. When we put on His Armour, and stay alert, praying to God—He will equip us to "stand strong."

John 6:37 (NRSV) — 37 Everything that the Father gives me will come to me,
and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away;

that all who see the Son and believe in him may have eternal life;
and I will raise them up on the last day.”
John 14:3 (NRSV) — 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:14 (NRSV) — 14 If in my name you ask me for anything,
I will do it.

Nothing, nothing, nothing is impossible for God!
Believe! Ask! Receive!
He is for you!
He will never abandon you!
Jesus is the Answer!
Rejoice!

2 Corinthians 3:18 (GW) — 18 As all of us reflect the Lord’s glory with faces
that are not covered with veils,
we are being changed into his image with ever-increasing glory.
This comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Our journey of life
must take us through valleys of pain
so that we emerge as
truth-filled children of God
who know their own story
of His Interaction in our lives.

Pain is transformed by His Glorious Truth!

Hebrews 12:12–13 (NRSV) — 12 Therefore lift your drooping hands

but rather be healed.

God's Presence in our lives removes the clutter and clamour!
He gives us new strength.
In His Presence we have sheer joy.
He turns our darkness into light - making rough places smooth.
Do you have tired, listless hands and weakened knees?

Isaiah 42:3 (NRSV) — 3 a bruised reed he will not break, and a dimly burning wick
he will not quench;
he will faithfully bring forth justice.
Isaiah 42:3 (The Message) — 3 He won’t brush aside the bruised and the hurt
and he won’t disregard the small and insignificant,

or put out even a weak flame.

Our compassionate God does not treat us harshly us.
He loves us and causes us to grow through our circumstances.
Our growth into spiritual maturity is His Goal ...
it becomes our purpose.
We can endure until our testing is over.
Then we will be mature and complete ... (James 1:4)
Bring it on, Lord! Bring it on!
Amen.
