Psalm 57:1 (NRSV) — 1 Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me,
for in you my soul takes refuge;
in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge,
 until the destroying storms pass by.
Psalm 57:1 (The Message) — 1 Be good to me, God—and now!
I’ve run to you for dear life.
I’m hiding out under your wings until
the hurricane blows over.

Psalm 107:29 (NRSV) — 29 he made the storm be still,
and the waves of the sea were hushed.
Psalm 107:29 (NLT) — 29 He calmed the storm to a whisper
and stilled the waves.

Mark 4:39 (The Message) — 39  ... He told the wind to pipe down and said to the sea,
“Quiet! Settle down!”
The wind ran out of breath;
 the sea became smooth as glass.

Romans 8:6 (NRSV) — 6 ... to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
Romans 8:6 (The Message) — 6 ... attention to God leads us out into the open,
into a spacious, free life.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Live IN His Peace!
Amen.
