Psalm 46:1 (NRSV) — 1 God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1 (The Message) — 1 God is a safe place to hide,
ready to help when we need him.
Romans 8:26 (The Message) — 26 Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting,
God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along.
If we don’t know how or what to pray,
it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us,
making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.
Colossians 3:10 (NRSV) — 10 [you] have clothed yourselves with the new self,
which is being renewed in knowledge
according to the image of its creator.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT) — 18 So all of us who have had that veil removed
can see and reflect the glory of the Lord.
And the Lord—who is the Spirit—
makes us more and more like him
as we are changed into his glorious image.
He brings strength out of our weakness.
We are anointed to be strong IN Him.
Rejoice that this day He holds ALL things
in the palm of His Hands.
You are His!
Rest!
And be restored!
Amen.
