Proverbs 3:5–6 (The Message) — 5 Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
6 Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Psalm 130:5–6 (NRSV) — 5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
6 my soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning,
more than those who watch for the morning.
Psalm 130:5–6 (NLT) — 5 I am counting on the Lord;
yes, I am counting on him.
I have put my hope in his word.
6 I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn,
yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
Psalm 130:5–6 (The Message) — 5 I pray to God—my life a prayer—
and wait for what he’ll say and do.
6 My life’s on the line before God, my Lord,
waiting and watching till morning,
waiting and watching till morning.
As we trust in our Lord,
we wait and watch
and renew our strength
so that we can soar on wings like eagles.
