Psalm 150:1–2&6 (NRSV)  Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty firmament! 2 Praise him for his mighty deeds;
praise him according to his surpassing greatness!
6 Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!

It is only right that the closing song in the Hebrew hymnal
be an invitation to praise the Lord.
The word praise is used thirteen times here.
Where should we praise Him? Wherever you are, praise the Lord!
Why should we praise Him? Because of what He does and who He is.
The better you know God’s character and works,
the more you will praise Him and the more you will enjoy praising Him.
How should we praise Him? With voices and instruments—
the whole person should be one living sacrifice that praises the Lord.
Who should praise Him? “Everything that has breath” (v. 6).
Our breath comes from Him so we ought to use it to praise His Name.
Let us devote each breath to the highest service—praising the Lord.
