Today we meet author the late Dallas Willard—a prolific writer of great importance to the Christian faith. His writing prompts us to ponder his words deeply. Take time to read slowly and meditatively. You will surely be inspired by his words!

Meditations—points to ponder

When we read the writings of the New Testament we get an overwhelming impression
that we are looking into another world and another life.
It is a divine world and a divine life—the life of the Kingdom of Heaven—
a world and a life that ordinary people have entered and are entering daily.
It is a world that is open to us. It beckons us as we feel its call.
Jesus’ own Words are an invitation … to come to Him and receive living water
The Spirit of God Himself, will keep us from ever being thirsty.
In accepting His invitation we become a spring welling up to eternal life.
Indeed, the living water will become rivers of living water
flowing out of the believer’s life to a thirsty world …

John 7:38 (ESV) — 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said,
‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ ”
