Meditations—points to ponder

The difficulty of entering fully into the divine worlds and its life
is due to our failure to understand that the way in is the way of
inner transformation and our failure to take the small steps
that quietly and certainly lead to it. This is actually a hopeful, vital insight.
For the individual it means that the hindrances to our putting off the old person
and putting on the new one can be overcome.
And that process will enable us to walk increasingly in wholeness, holiness and power
of the Kingdom of Heaven. No-one need live in personal and spiritual defeat.
A life of victory over sin and circumstances is available to us all.

For Christians it means that there is a straight-forward way to fulfill Jesus’ call
to be radically different. Our fellowship can be places where
Heaven and earth meet, where the Cross and resurrection can save the lost,
and where the saved can be led into the fullness of Christ.
No special facilities, programs, talents or techniques are required.
It doesn’t even demand a budget!
Just faithfulness to the process of spiritual formation in Christ-likeness revealed
in the Scripture and in the lives of His people through the ages.
