El Olam: God of Eternity
Genesis 21:33 (NRSV)  Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.
Genesis 21:33 (The Message) Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba and
worshiped God there, praying to the Eternal God.
Genesis 21:33 (NCV) Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba and prayed to the Lord,
the God Who lives forever.
Genesis 21:33 (NAB)  Abraham planted a tamarisk at Beer-sheba,
and there he invoked by name the LORD,
God the Eternal.

Abraham calls upon the Name of God wherever he goes …
many of the Names of God are recorded in the story of Abraham.
God is the Beginning and the End for He is Eternal, Everlasting and throughout all time.
He is the Everlasting God.
This Name emphasizes God’s unchangeableness
and is connected with His inexhaustibleness thus
He gives strength to the weary.

Praise God today that He is El Olam—God of Eternity.
He knows you and loves you!
You know Him and love Him!
PTL!
