Romans 8:35&37 (NRSV) — 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ?
Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ...
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Isaiah 53:5 (NRSV) — 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions,
crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the punishment that made us whole,
and by his bruises we are healed.

2 Corinthians 4:8–10 (NRSV) — 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed;
perplexed, but not driven to despair;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken;
struck down, but not destroyed;
10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus,
so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our bodies.

Psalm 51:8 (NRSV) — 8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones that you have crushed rejoice.
Psalm 51:8 (The Message) — 8 Tune me in to foot-tapping songs,
set these once-broken bones to dancing.

The pressure may feel crushing
but God ...
His Son died so that you may have new life!
His Life springs forth in you!
His Beauty IN you
emerges like a butterfly from the chrysalis.
