Romans 5:8 (NRSV) — 8 But God proves his love for us in that 

while we still were sinners Christ died for us.

by offering his Son in sacrificial death 

while we were of no use whatever to him.

Romans 6:11 (NRSV) — 11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin 

and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Romans 6:11 (The Message) — 11 From now on, think of it this way: 

Sin speaks a dead language that means nothing to you; 

God speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word. 

You are dead to sin and alive to God. 

That’s what Jesus did. 

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NRSV) — 17 So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: 

everything old has passed away; 

see, everything has become new!

We were once that difficult package!

We embrace the Goodness of God

and He continues to restore and refine us.
