Psalm 147:3 (NRSV) — 3 He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.
Psalm 147:3 (The Message) — 3 He heals the heartbroken and bandages their wounds.

Isaiah 53:5 (NLT) — 5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
Isaiah 53:5 (The Message) — 5 But it was our sins that did that to him,
that ripped and tore and crushed him—our sins!
He took the punishment, and that made us whole.
Through his bruises we get healed.

1 Peter 2:24 (NLT) — 24 He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross
so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right.
By his wounds you are healed.
1 Peter 2:24 (The Message) — 24 He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross
so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way.
His wounds became your healing.

God's love for us transcends
ALL our understanding,
surpassing everything that has ever wounded us
so that IN Him we continue to be made whole.
He loves us dearly!

James 1:6 (NLT) — 6 But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone.
Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea
that is blown and tossed by the wind.
James 1:6 (The Message) — 6 Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought.
People who “worry their prayers”
are like wind-whipped waves.

1 John 5:4 (NRSV) — 4 for whatever is born of God conquers the world.
And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.

Hebrews 12:2 (NRSV) — 2 look[ing] to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, ...
Hebrews 12:2 (The Message) — 2 Keep your eyes on Jesus,
who both began and finished this race we’re in.
Study how he did it.
Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—
that exhilarating finish in and with God—...

Our faith is cemented in our Faithful God
Who will never leave us or forsake us.
He hears our every wordless prayer and sigh.
When our eyes are on Jesus
our doubts are dispelled.
Hallelujah!

1 Peter 5:7 (NRSV) — 7 Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.

2 Corinthians 4:17 (NRSV) — 17 For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us
for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure,
2 Corinthians 4:17 (NLT) — 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long.
Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
2 Corinthians 4:17 (The Message) — 17 These hard times are small potatoes
compared to the coming good times,
he lavish celebration prepared for us.

Jesus reminds us in His Word ...
My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
We need to know the difference
between His light burden and our unnecessary excess baggage!

Isaiah 46:4 (NRSV) — 4 even to your old age I am he,
even when you turn gray I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save.
Isaiah 46:4 (NLT) — 4 I will be your God throughout your lifetime—
until your hair is white with age.
I made you, and I will care for you.
I will carry you along and save you.
Isaiah 46:4 (The Message) — 4 And I’ll keep on carrying you when you’re old.
I’ll be there, bearing you when you’re old and gray.
I’ve done it and will keep on doing it,
carrying you on my back, saving you.

John 13:34–35 (NLT) — 34 So now I am giving you a new commandment:
Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
John 13:34–35 (The Message) — 34 “Let me give you a new command:
Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another.
35 This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—
when they see the love you have for each other.”

John 15:10 (NLT) — 10 ... you remain in my love,
just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
John 15:10 (The Message) — 10 ... you’ll remain intimately at home in my love.
That’s what I’ve done—kept my Father’s commands
and made myself at home in his love.

1 John 3:2 (NRSV) — 2 Beloved, we are God’s children now;
what we will be has not yet been revealed.
What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him,
for we will see him as he is.
1 John 3:2 (The Message) — 2 But friends, that’s exactly who we are:
children of God. And that’s only the beginning.
Who knows how we’ll end up!
What we know is that when Christ is openly revealed, we’ll see him—
and in seeing him, become like him.

God's Love is a Great and Joyous Mystery!
He calls us with His Love!
Empowers with His Love!
Embraces us with His Love!
Because we are His - eternally.
Amen.

Romans 5:3 (NRSV) — 3 And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings,
knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Romans 5:3 (The Message) — 3 There’s more to come:
We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles,
because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us,

Romans 8:18 (NRSV) — 18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time
are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.
Romans 8:18 (The Message) — 18 That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison
between the present hard times and the coming good times.

Romans 12:12 (NRSV) — 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering,
persevere in prayer.
Romans 12:12 (The Message) — 12 [be] cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times;
pray all the harder.

Jesus is our very present help in time of trouble.
He will never leave you or forsake you.
He knows the glory that is being unveiled in you
for it is His Glory in you and for you!
A glorious mystery indeed!
Hallelujah!
