Romans 5:3 (NRSV) — 3 And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings,
knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Romans 5:3 (The Message) — 3 There’s more to come:
We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles,
because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us,

Romans 8:18 (NRSV) — 18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time
are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.
Romans 8:18 (The Message) — 18 That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison
between the present hard times and the coming good times.

Romans 12:12 (NRSV) — 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering,
persevere in prayer.
Romans 12:12 (The Message) — 12 [be] cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times;
pray all the harder.

Jesus is our very present help in time of trouble.
He will never leave you or forsake you.
He knows the glory that is being unveiled in you
for it is His Glory in you and for you!
A glorious mystery indeed!
Hallelujah!
