Job 33:28 (NRSV) — 28 He has redeemed my soul from going down to the Pit, 

and my life shall see the light.’

Job 33:28 (The Message) — 28 But God stepped in and saved me from certain death. 

I’m alive again! 

Once more I see the light!’

Job 33:28 (NLT) — 28 God rescued me from the grave, 

and now my life is filled with light.’

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NRSV) — 18 And all of us, with unveiled faces,

 seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, 

are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; 

for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (The Message) — 18 All of us! Nothing between us and God, 

our faces shining with the brightness of his face. 

And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, 

our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful 

as God enters our lives and we become like him.

Therein lies the nature of our trials, transformations and our Treasure!

Being transformed into His Image

so that our faces shine with the brightness of His Face!

It might be a hard road now

but it is certainly worth traveling it!
