1 John 4:15 (NRSV) — 15 God abides in those who confess 

that Jesus is the Son of God, 

and they abide in God.

1 John 4:15 (NLT) — 15 All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God 

have God living in them, and they live in God.

1 John 4:15 (The Message) — 15 Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son 

participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God.

Romans 3:24 (NLT) — 24 Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. 

He did this through Christ Jesus 

when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.

Romans 3:24 (The Message) — 24 God did it for us. 

Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. 

A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in 

and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. 

And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.

God did this for us!
