Romans 8:28–29 (NLT) — 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together
for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son,
so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
Romans 8:28–29 (The Message) — 28 That’s why we can be so sure that every detail
in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
29 God knew what he was doing from the very beginning.
He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him
along the same lines as the life of his Son.
The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored.
We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him.

James 1:2 (NKJV) — 2 ... count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

1 Peter 4:13 (NRSV) — 13 But rejoice insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings,
so that you may also be glad and shout for joy when his glory is revealed.

Your tangled thorns will give way
to glad shouts of joy in His Glory!
