Romans 8:9 (NRSV) — 9a But you are not in the flesh; you are in the Spirit, 

since the Spirit of God dwells in you. ...

Romans 8:9 (The Message) — 9 But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, 

you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. 

Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, 

the Spirit of Christ, won’t know what we’re talking about.

John 16:13 (NRSV) — 13b ... When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth;

John 16:13 (The Message) — 13 But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, 

he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. 

He won’t draw attention to himself, 

but will make sense out of what is about to happen and, indeed, 

out of all that I have done and said.
